Our bespoke eLearning development approach

We take your brief and turn it into a bespoke eLearning course your team can confidently launch.

    Discovery

    We begin by diving deep into your challenge. We explore what problem you’re solving, who your learners are, and what needs to change. This often includes reviewing existing content and collaborating with stakeholders so we can agree on the best solution.

    Design

    Next, we create a detailed storyboard that lays out the full course, from structure to visuals and interactions. This blueprint lets your team see exactly how the course will flow, making it easy to provide feedback and confidently sign off before development begins.

    Development

    With the storyboard approved, our developers bring your content to life using your chosen authoring tool. We test the course thoroughly for accessibility, responsiveness, and functionality, making any necessary tweaks to ensure it works perfectly for your learners.

    Delivery

    You’ll get everything you need to launch, from SCORM or xAPI files to editable source files. You can update the bespoke eLearning course in-house, or we can handle changes for you.

Bespoke eLearning FAQs

  • Bespoke eLearning means something that is made to order for a specific customer, tailored to their unique specifications. In digital learning, that’s likely to mean it’s authored in the tool of your choice, designed to your organisation’s brand guidelines and uses the words, tone and language that sounds like your brand.

  • That’s a tricky one! In the world of bespoke eLearning, there’s not really a ‘typical’ course… The things that make a difference to the cost are things like production value of the graphics/illustration (think Toy Story versus South Park), the complexity of the learning/message (think Game of Thrones versus Playschool) and how much information you need to get across (think Lord of the Rings versus TikTok). If you go for a middle level for all of those things, our typical cost for a 20-minute course would be £12k-£16k.

  • A lot of things depend on the answer to that question! Right from the availability of content from which to work, access to SMEs, how long the course is going to be and to what level of production it’s going to made to… Having said that, a typical 20-minute course to a mid-level of production will usually take between 8-12 weeks.

  • You do when your work with Mint! We believe you should be able to keep what you’ve paid for, though we know not all companies think like we do. Make sure you’re clear on what you’re getting when you commission some work - with Mint you’ll always get everything, which makes it simple.

  • It might sound a bit odd, but all of them! We’re the learning experts and when we assemble on a project we often bring in a subject matter expert (usually from the client side of things) to ensure the learning delivers. We’ve recently worked across the Retail, Pharma/Healthcare, Engineering/Construction, Tech, Public Sector, Finance and Education sectors.

  • We probably do - we’re proud to be platform agnostic, so we’re not tied to any one tool or system for authoring. The same goes for LMSs (of which there are around a bajillion these days!) - while we may use some more than others due to their popularity (think Intellum,  Cornerstone, Docebo, TalentLMS etc.), we’ve never come across a system we couldn’t use.
